Number One Cup League and Tournament Website

Number One Cup runs amateur football leagues and tournaments on Istanbul's Asian side. The goal was to give amateur football a professional experience: every score, every goalscorer and every table visible on the site while the match is being played.

About the project

We built the site like a sports broadcaster's match centre. The home page shows the next match, the season's goal, match, team and player counts, league tables, the top scorers and ongoing tournaments in one flow. A navy-and-yellow design with bold headlines and team crests brings a stadium feel to the screen, with a switch between light and dark themes.

What we built

• Match centre: Fixtures browsable by day, results and live matches, with a page for every match.
• Leagues: Standings for double round-robin leagues with recent form, season progress, rules and suspended players.
• Tournaments: Group tables and a knockout bracket from the semi-finals to the final, with a champion card when the tournament ends.
• Team and player pages: Squads, shirt numbers, wins, draws and losses, win rate, goal difference and the competitions a team plays in; top scorers and player profiles.
• Pitch-side login: Referees start their assigned matches, enter goals and cards live, write the report and confirm the result; team managers handle squads and line-ups, dragging players into position. Standings update the moment a result is entered.
• Team applications, news and videos: New teams apply on the site; announcements and highlights have their own sections.
• Two languages: Turkish and English interface.

Mobile experience

Fans and players mostly follow scores on their phones, at the pitch or in the stands. The fixture strip, standings and team pages were laid out to read easily on small screens. Referees and team managers can do the same tasks with the same account in the N1 Cup Saha mobile app.
